The current Steam store description lists support for 2–4 players. That makes one group of four the supported maximum for a standard session.

The store also lists online co-op and shared/split-screen play. Check the current mode and lobby screen before inviting players because available options can change with updates.

Choosing a party size

A two-player group has fewer voices and inputs to coordinate. Three or four players creates a fuller party, but clear roles and short callouts become more important.

For couch play, the official v2.0 notes say one person may use keyboard and mouse, so a four-person group can play with three controllers.
