Public matchmaking and lobby browser status

The developers said Machine Party was designed for groups of friends and that public matchmaking and lobby lists were not part of the core vision. The current base game therefore does not provide a queue for random players or a public server browser.

How to play online with friends

Assemble a 2–4 player group through Steam, then use the game's online flow to play together. Agree on region, time, and party size before launching so the group is ready when the session starts.

How to find players when friends are unavailable

Use the official Looking for Group Discord linked in the pinned Steam discussion. The developer's v1.5 announcement also points players there; use the current pinned post rather than copied invite links that may expire.

Community mods may advertise public lobbies, but they are unofficial and separate from base-game support. Do not present them as built-in matchmaking.
